Every year for her sisters birthday, Imby Langenbach would post her something she made. One year it was a soft leather clutch, the design was so well loved, she kept being asked to make more. That's how Karmme (pronounced calm) was born. She now makes leather clutches in her studio in Sydney, focusing on small batch production and collaborating with other creatives.

Simply calling Sally a recipe developer and a food photographer doesn’t capture the joy in what she does. Scrolling through photos of her baking adventures, I’m transported into a romantic world of pastel hued cakes and fluffy chocolate puffs. Her recipes have descriptions like vanilla and passion fruit sponge with pistachio butter cream and sticky gingerbread with lemon marscapone frosting. Sally's creations most definitely bring me joy, I was delighted to chat her about what brings her happiness (aside from baking).
