Learn about how we make our ceramics

This little bowl has a thousand uses. In the bathroom for soap or cotton balls, on your nightstand for keeping your earrings and rings safe, in the kitchen for olives, pistachios, dukkha, and olive oil. On a grazing board, it's the perfect size for condiments and little bites. Hibi, meaning every day, is one bowl that you'll wish you had more of.

approximately 10cm diameter x 2cm tall

Why you'll love it

You might think why do I need a tiny bowl in my life? I can tell you these little guys are so handy. You'll use them every day, for portioning out ingredients, popping little bits of leftovers in the fridge, tiny snacks. Buy more than one, you'll miss them when they’re in the dishwasher.

Dishwasher safe, microwave and oven proof.

If we have this item in stock it will be marked as 'ready to ship', if not it will be made to order. Making ceramics is a true labour of love and it's a lengthy process. It takes a minimum of three weeks (expect the wait to be longer in peak seasons like the lead up to Christmas). All pieces are handmade in Fremantle, Western Australia and we promise they’ll be worth the wait! Every piece is unique, featuring different curves and characteristics from the making and firing process. These irregularities in finish are part of the character of the piece and to be embraced as part of the aesthetic of handmade.

Due to the handmade process some variation in shape, glaze hue and size may occur from that pictured here. The speckled pattern in the plates is unpredicatble, varies from batch to batch and is unique to every piece. You can request lightly speckled or heavy speckled but allow an additional 3 weeks for production.

Shipping is free for orders over $150 Australia wide. For international orders, shipping is calculated at the checkout. If your country is not listed, please get in touch and we can provide a shipping quote. You can find more information on our Frequently Asked Questions page

Dishwasher & Oven Safe

Our stoneware is oven, microwave, dishwasher and food safe and is designed to be used every day.

Handmade in Australia

Winterwares ceramics are handmade in our Fremantle studio, by a small team of people. Each piece is designed to last many years of use.

Every piece a one of a kind

Due to the handmade process, slight variations will occur in the shape, glaze sheen and amount of speckles in every piece and should be embraced as part of the beauty of handmade.

Absolutely packed with so much love and care. Wonderfully efficient and arrived in plenty of time for my husbands birthday. I ordered the candles plus when used we have 4 tea tumblers. Also we received a gorgeous gift hibi bowl (thank you so much) All in all a perfect, fantastic experience and so such joy felt in through and around my order. My husband is looking forward to beautiful candle aromatherapy to add to the atmosphere in our home. Love and light Sim x

Beautiful hand crafted ceramic gems!

I absolutely love my bowls from Winterwares. They are beautifully hand made which means each one is slightly different and unique, the colours are incredible, they are also strong and durable which is a bonus. I will definitely continue to purchase from Simone at Winterwares - she makes the most beautiful ceramics and there is nothing nicer than a meal or a coffee in a beautifully hand made bowl or cup.

Hibi bowl

This little bowl is so versatile. It can be used to spruce up a charcuterie board or to hold your small jewellery collection, I plan on buying many more.

Hibi Bowl

This is my second Hibi bowl - love it! Not only does the Hibi bowl look so cute, it's very versatile and therefore handy in the kitchen to the dinner table. Love it - I'll probably purchase at least another in the future!
