Beauty in handmade
At Winterwares no two items are made exactly the same, each item is handmade and may differ very slightly to the images and measurements online. Due to the handmade process, some variation in shape, glaze hue and size may occur from order to order. Every vessel is unique, featuring different curves and characteristics from the making and firing process. These irregularities in the finish are part of the character of the pieces and to be embraced as part of the aesthetic of handmade.
PRODUCTS
All our ceramics are robust enough for everyday use and dishwasher safe. To maintain their quality and appearance, we recommend handling them with the usual care afforded to ceramic items.
Yes, our ceramics are oven safe, but they should be handled with care to avoid thermal shock. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as placing a cold plate directly into a pre-heated oven or putting a hot plate on a cold countertop.
We do not undertake one-off custom projects or designs. However, if you have a project requiring multiple copies of the same design, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Items on listed as Made to Order will be made especially for you. Each piece in the Winterwares range is handmade, hand glazed and twice fired in a kiln, the process is slow and can’t be rushed. If your item is being made allow 2-3 weeks for making and then 1–2 weeks for shipping.
Depending on the items being shipped and your location we will use either Australia Post or Aramex courier service.
All care will be taken though any items lost in the post cannot be covered by Winterwares, please ensure your shipping address is correct. If you would like to purchase tracking and insurance on your order please contact us before purchasing.

Orders that are in stock are packed and shipped within 2 (working days) of purchase. Parcels shipped within Australia usually arrive 10 business days from shipping date. Products on backorder can take between two to five weeks.
Not usually, but we do send special offers to our VIP customers join our VIP list or follow us on instagram @winterwares
It depends on where you are. Once your products are made, orders will take 5–10 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7–16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
