My partner and I love the workshops at Winterwares. It's a great opportunity to switch off and create for a couple hours. Simone always makes the courses enjoyable and informative. We will back again, and again!
My daughter has attended 2 x kids holiday workshops which we absolutely loved, and which lead to us celebrating her 9th birthday with a private workshop with 7 of her friends. Our experience at Winterwares has been nothing but supreme and we cant thank Sim and Anna enough.

I recently attended Simone’s mug-making class for the second time (having done it a couple of years earlier). The experience was just as fantastic as I remembered it being. The Winterwares shop itself is a beautiful relaxing space and Simone is the perfect pottery tutor. She provided just the right amount of direction and attention to all that attended. We look forward to picking up our glazed mugs in a few weeks! Highly recommend this class to any novice or ceramics newbie, or anyone wanting to try something new with nurturing guidance.
I received gift voucher for my birthday to make a breakfast set. The space is gorgeous and our tutor, Ana was a gentle guide who gave us just the right amount of direction so that we could learn techniques independently. Lots of attention to detail - including a lovely morning tea afterwards too. It was the most lovely, mindful experience - highly recommended. Thank you Sim and Ana!
I have been using it and I absolutely love the look and feel of it, and the fact that each one is unique and handmade makes me appreciate it more.
What an awesome class! Definitely recommend it, I have zero pottery skills but was really happy with results. Ana was amazing and made the class fun. This was a gift from my son for my birthday and will definitely be doing another one. Simone was so friendly and welcoming and i enjoyed the treats. Can't wait to pick up my pieces !! The most relaxing activity I have done in ages !
My mum, sister and I did this workshop for a girls day and it was a beautiful setup, well guided class, very peaceful and relaxing, Sim is very lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend it!
This Kinstugi class had it all. Expert guidance by the patient and supportive Anna and a beautifully curated take-home kit containing materials required to practice our new skills in this centuries-old art of mending broken things. The Winterwares studio is a calm and tranquil space in which to slow down the pace of life and engage all the senses-I’d happily spend all my days there!

I was gifted one of these big Winterwares mug for christmas and I LOVE it. It's on the same beauty/joy tier as my vintage mugs (tough competition) but because it goes in the dishwasher it's become the mug I always reach for (busy girl's best friend).
Our group of 6 purchased enough clay for each of us to create a number of pieces.
Chatting and enjoying the great smooth texture of Winterwares clay was relaxing fun and gave us a delightful way to connect and share ideas.
We all agree that having our pieces glazed by Winterwares as part of the price is a great bonus!

Lovely, always wanted a breakfast set and when i saw the discount was delighted. It was a gift to myself, when it arrived i set it up for morning with pretty tableware and felt totally spoilt. Love all of it.

Definitely recommended any of winter wares ceramics, I am never disappointed! Love the wabi sabi bowl as a fruit bowl but also a big salad bowl, its massive.
