Make a Breakfast Set
per person
When you start making with clay, you don't want to stop, so we introduced a 3-piece class to make a collection of pieces, learning different pottery techniques, over three hours of making. The breakfast set workshop includes a bowl, a cup and a side plate.
Our workshops are designed to cater to beginners, and those with some experience, providing a comprehensive introduction to hand building with clay. From the moment you step into the studio, you'll be guided step-by-step to make a set that's beautiful and functional.
We intentionally keep our classes small to provide gentle guidance, and our teachers are experienced ceramicists with an absolute passion for the craft. While you are busy creating, we ensure you are well nourished with an endless pot of organic tea and our homemade treats.
Winterwares workshops are more than just learning a new skill; they're about slowing down, embracing the moment, and finding joy in creating something with your own hands.

Absolutely. Our workshops are guided at a gentle pace. Whatever your level of experience with ceramics, there is always a connection when hand building with clay.
After your workshop, your creations will be carefully dried, glazed and kiln fired by the Winterwares team. Your finished pieces will usually be ready for collection from our Fremantle studio in approximately 3 weeks.
Please note that we will always handle your pieces with the utmost care and professionalism, however, as is the nature of ceramics, on very rare occasions the pieces do not make it through the kiln firing process.
