More than a hobby, it’s a pathway to reclaim your calm.
When I first dove into pottery, it was a mess — literally and figuratively. But from the moment my hands touched the clay, I discovered an inner peace. I've since created a personal sanctuary in Fremantle's historic West End. If you're searching for a way to be creative and carve out some "me time," I warmly invite you to join this special space.
Ready to start your pottery journey? Here's what's included with your membership
Exclusive firing service
As a member, you'll be able to have your clay creations fired in our kilns.
A major hurdle for new potters is lack of access to a kiln. As a Winterwares member, there are no public firings and no long waits. Firing fees depend on the size of your pieces. You can also opt for us to glaze your creations, or learn to do this yourself during one of your booked sessions with our glaze experts.
12 hours of studio time
Our online booking system gives you flexibility to book, cancel or reschedule your session times.
You get 12 hours of studio time each month, split into six 2-hour sessions. Our studio is open every day 10am to 4pm and until 8pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Want a longer creative stretch? Easily book sessions back-to-back for up to six hours of uninterrupted pottery. Enjoy your own peaceful space to craft and create, far from the daily hustle.

We have everything you need to start your pottery journey
Included in your membership is 10 kg of clay — ideal for crafting a set of plates, a collection of mugs, or several fruit bowls! Our studio comes fully equipped with all the essential tools and equipment you need, making it easy to bring your visions to life.
Hello, and welcome to Winterwares.
I'm Simone, the founder, and I started this journey in 2016 after a pivotal moment in my life. Busy being busy, I reached a point of complete burnout that made me rethink what truly mattered. This led me to pottery - a craft that transformed my life by allowing me to slow down and focus on the essentials. I have created a place where you too can experience the joy of pottery, enrich your life with meaningful creations, and experience the calm that comes from crafting with intention.
